This inspiring cartoon mirrors a glowingly positive percepetion that a neighbor next door is more like a relative. As can be seen, a young man, with a spanner and towel on his shoulders, is waving goodbye and smiling at a couple of aging grandparents：“It is desirable to help each other between neighbors”, which is, in return, accompanied by the deep appreciation from two seniors who are admiring his kindness：“It is a priceless gift to have a good neighbor.”
Conspicuously, such episode shows that a newly-emerging form of strong and cohensive relationship between neighbors has been created and strengthened, leading to a variety of potentially positive effects. Translated, nothing would be more inspiring than a harmonious neighborhood in all spheres of modern life. For one thing, the successful neighbor relations are not only to encourage personal interactions with each other, but might possibly be beneficial to establish a deep bond with strangers to realize common values, and more probably to advance the intimacy and coherence of the community on the whole scale. For another, there is no denying that the face-to-face communication between neighbors in this self-centered world would, to a large extent, be more associated with decreases in crime and more visile rewards offered by warm-hearted folks next door.
Overall, far more cetain would be that social epidemic of mutual help between neighbors makes good sense in personal, social and moral aspects of our modernization. Therefore, elevating the notion of harmonious neighborhood rather than ignorance and indifference in an elegant and sound manner would be the best step to our promising prospect of Chinese dreams.
