考研英語中，無論哪種題型，在句子成分中常常會涉及到關(guān)于句子中成分省略的考查。今天，就和大家看看對省略現(xiàn)象要get哪些知識點吧。
省略結(jié)構(gòu)在考研英語中的考查主要體現(xiàn)在句子的理解層面，主要分為兩類：一類是借助于其他詞語的省略，如使用助動詞代替前文出現(xiàn)過的動詞，使用代詞代替提到過的名詞；另一類直接省略，如略去上下文的重合部分，通常是主語(和/或)謂語。
一、 對省略結(jié)構(gòu)的掌握要求：
1.快速識別句子省略的內(nèi)容;
2.補全句子省略的內(nèi)容。常見的省略現(xiàn)象會出現(xiàn)在并列結(jié)構(gòu)中、狀語從句中、名詞性從句中和定語從句中。
二、省略現(xiàn)象會出現(xiàn)的結(jié)構(gòu)：
1、形容詞性(定語)從句關(guān)系代詞的省略
(1)that, which引導(dǎo)定語從句并在從句中做賓語時，可以省略。
(2)that引導(dǎo)定語從句并且從句是there be句型時，可以省略。
Eg: No one would have the time to read orlisten to an account of everything there is going on in the world.
(3) 常使用不定式作為省略的手段；當(dāng)用as引導(dǎo)非限制性定語從句時，常省略系動詞。
Eg: All tests require a potential candidate with whom (the tests) to compare DNA.
2、副詞性(狀語)從句的省略
(1)虛擬語氣句省略條件連詞if，從句采用倒裝結(jié)構(gòu)。
Had it not been for the timely investmentfrom the general public, our company would not be so thriving as it is.
(2)由although, as if, if,no matter + wh-, once, though, unless, until, when, where, whether, while等連詞引導(dǎo)的表示時間、地點、條件、讓步、方式的狀語從句，可省略主語和助動詞be，保留ing分詞、ed分詞或表語。這樣省略的條件是：從句中被省略的主語必須與主句的主語一致；謂語動詞必須含有be；從句必須與主語和be動詞一起省去，不可只省略主語而保留整個謂語，也不可只保留主語而省略謂語。

3、比較從句中主語的省略
在這種省略結(jié)構(gòu)中，也可以把than或as當(dāng)成關(guān)系代詞。因為省略主語，要特別注意識別哪個詞是省略了的主語，進而選擇謂語的數(shù)量、時態(tài)和語態(tài)。
There ought to be less anxiety over theperceived risk of getting cancer than exists in the public mind today.
4、名詞性從句中的省略
常見的是使用不定式在主動表達中省略動詞的施動者，在被動表達中省略助動詞、情態(tài)動詞等。
Eg: She will go to Beijing, but I don’t know how (she will go to Beijing).
5、并列結(jié)構(gòu)中的省略
在并列句中，后面的分句往往省略和上文重合的部分。
Eg: I think you’ll win the race; indeed we all think so.
(so=you’ll win the race)
