What are your strengths and weaknesss?
你的優(yōu)點和缺點是什么？
My biggest advantages are patience and strong learning ability. I can always complete the tasks assigned by the teacher with both quality and quantity guaranteed, especially in the papers and research work. I can learn and master the knowledge quickly, so that I can get good grades in the undergraduate period.
In terms of my weakness, I am not good at refusing others. Sometimes I put myself in a difficult situation, but I am still happy to help others as much as I can. In the future, I will be brave enough to overcome this shortcoming and consider others as well as myself.
回答重點：優(yōu)點最好是闡述自己的學習能力、科研能力一類，體現(xiàn)你的學術潛質(zhì)，缺點盡量提一些無傷大雅的點，譬如不懂拒絕這一類。
2、家鄉(xiāng)
Where are you come from?/ Tell something about your hometown.
你從哪里來?/說說你的家鄉(xiāng)。
My hometown is Chengde. Chengde is the collecting Places of standard Chinese Mandarin. It is a city full of history and beautiful sceneries. There are so many tourists coming to my hometown every year to visit The Mountain Resort. Those Places of historic interest not only reflect how profound our culture is but also boost our city's economic development. In addition, the sky in Chengde is always blue, the air quality is good，and the pace of life is slow. I’m very happy to live here.
回答思路：點明家鄉(xiāng)地點+闡述家鄉(xiāng)特色（景點、美食、人文、歷史等）+自己對家鄉(xiāng)的看法。

My undergraduate school is xxx, located in xxx. The most impressive thing is that my school is located by xxx. The learning atmosphere in this university impresses me very much. I often saw students reciting words or reading aloud in some corners in the morning. Although my university is not in the leading position in academic field, it gave me the initial courage to begin my college life.
回答思路：點明學校名稱+闡述學校特點（學習氛圍、師資力量等）+自己對學校的看法（主要是本科期間學校給自己帶來了哪些成長，積極正能量一點?。?/p>
4、印象深刻的事件
What is the most fulfilling / most impressive thing during the undergraduate course?你在本科期間最充實/印象最深的事情是什么?
One of the things that impressed me the most during my undergraduate years was participating in a marketing competition during my sophomore year. It not only needs to design a practical solution, but also guarantee sales. With the joint efforts of the team members, we achieved good results in the competition, which made me feel the importance of teamwork.
回答思路：選擇一個能夠體現(xiàn)你能力的事件，譬如克服了xx困難，取得了xx成績，獲取了xx知識與能力。

During the past four years, I have learned a lot of professional knowledge and practical skills, but gradually, I realize it is not enough. In my opinion, further study is actually agent for me to realize and finally achieve self value.Life is precious, it is necessary to catch any opportunity for self-development, especially in the competitive modern society. Therefore, I prefer to go on for further education.
回答重點：強調(diào)讀研對你的積極意義，包括學術發(fā)展、職業(yè)發(fā)展、人生影響等。

Why do you choose to study at our school/ institute?
你為什么選擇在我們學校/學院學習？
First of all, xxx University has a great influence in the field of xxx, and has a highly qualified faculty. So I have a strong faith and desire to continue my postgraduate study here, acquire further knowledge and to be better self not only academically, but also comprehensively.
